About Johnny's Resin
Johnny's Resin was started in 1998 by Johnny Stacks . Johnny started working with resin kits in the late 1980s. It was Al Reborio that first worked with Johnny in mold making. Al is still making molds and sculpting. He is considered one of the Best in The Business. Johnny then worked with John Patterson and still does today. John Patterson is an acclaimed Artist living in New York City. John and John still remain close friends. Johnny Stacks being born in 1960 was always a huge fan of the 1966 Batman TV series. Johnny attended a Batman Convention in 1999 and met Adam West, Yvonne Craig and Frank Gorshin. At the show Johnny came up with the idea to do resin kits of the actors . He had a meeting with then Frank Gorshin manager Joe Wheeler. Joe had explained the problems in making the kits would be that the kits would have to represent the actor and not the Character owned by DC Comics and Time Warner. It was then Johnny contacted Yvonne Craig . After working out a deal with Yvonne he produced the beautiful Yvonne Craig kit . The other actors and kits followed.
Johnny became close friends with Frank Gorshin and his fiancée Haji. Johnny produces the web-sites for Frank Gorshin www.therealfrankgorshin.com, Burt Ward www.robinhtheboywonder.com and Frank fiancée Haji www.fasterpussycathaji.com. This has been a dream come true for Johnny working with these actors he so loved in his childhood. Johnny has learned these actors are great people also very caring and giving. Johnny still does most the work near his home in Florida. He pours the kits and builds and paints those that are ordered. " I do wear glasses now" Johnny looks forward to the coming years and will always love Batman .
